Description: Mopane Bush Lodge is ideally located for visits to Mapungubwe National Park, Mapungubwe Hill, the centre of the World Heritage Landscape where the first southern African kingdom was established in the 13th Century and San rock art sites. Bed capacity: We offer 15 secluded double/twin-bedded thatched chalets with en-suite bathroom, each with its own veranda, additional outdoor shower, and fantastic views of the surrounding bushveld that are unique and private to each chalet.

We have four large thatched chalets available, each having a spacious main bedroom with 2 twin beds/ 1 double bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, large closet, table and two chairs, air conditioned, and each equipped with their own microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee/tea station, utensils and cutlery, and BBQ area.

Discreetly tucked away on a hillside with stunning mopane bushveld views is the Wilderness Tented Camp. Each luxuriously appointed tent has an ensuite bathroom with large tub, outdoor shower and quality bedding. The units are set apart so as to enjoy privacy while offering comfortable furnishings, ensuring all nature lovers can relish their time in this secluded and mystifying area of South Africa.
