Description: Caracal Lodge is a piece of heaven offering luxury self catering accommodation near Nelspruit in Mpumalanga. Situated in the beautiful valley of Houtboshoek we are only 48 km from Nelspruit and a mere 100 km from the Kruger National Park.
Caracal Lodge is surrounded by beautiful grassy mountains, home to the Mountain Reedbuck, Grey Rhebuck, Oribi and Bush-buck which roam freely in the area. Caracal Lodge boasts 300 ha of unspoiled nature, completely game fenced and home to the various species of game that have been introduced to the area.
Bed capacity: Caracal Lodge offers seven self catering luxury cottages, each uniquely designed by the owners, giving each cottage / lodge an individual look and feel. As well as our newly opened 28 bed Farm Stay “Thys se Place” for larger group bookings.
In-room facilities: The units at Caracal Lodge combine elegance with a rustic bush-style atmosphere. Each has a seating area and patio, kitchen facilities and a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy garden and mountain views. Some of the units have their own private plunge pool.
On-site facilities: BBQ facilities. Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed). Daily housekeeping. Outdoor swimming pool
On-site activities: Guests can hike safely or take a 4×4 drive around the ranch to enjoy the breathtaking views of our beautiful valley while game viewing at the same time.
