Description: Pongola Game Reserve is the world’s second-oldest private reserve and the oldest in Africa, dating back to 1894. Here, at the shore of the 15000-hectare Lake Jozini and at the foot of the majestic Lebombo Mountains you will find White Elephant Safaris. White Elephant is the only lodge in South Africa to offer Kariba-like, water based safari activities as well as the traditional land based activities. Bed capacity: Equipped with facilities to self-cater, White Elephant Safaris provide guests with accommodation set in either a two-bedroom cottage or a private bush camp. The private camp is comprised of 7 thatched en-suite chalets each with overhead ceiling fans. Guests can make use of the fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and swimming pool. The two-bedroom cottage is located away from the main camp and boasts a large veranda with open-plan kitchen.

On-site facilities: WiFi is available in public areas and is free of charge. Secured parking. Daily housekeeping. Airport shuttle (additional charge). 24-hour security. Designated smoking area. Swimming pool.

On-site activities: We are passionate about conservation and offer a superb Black Rhino tracking experience, as well as fascinating Elephant research activities.
