Description: Situated at the base of the Outeniqua Mountains.The park has over 30 km of breathtaking trails purpose built for mountain biking, trail running and walking. A permit is required to ride these trails.
Bed capacity: The GRTP Backpackers is situated directly next to the Trail Park Cafe and can accommodate up to 20 people. The family friendly 4 bedroom cottage sleeps 8 people and is the ideal place to kick back, braai and ride the trails till the next braai.
On-site facilities: Also take advantage of the Trail cafe which is fully operational during season for that coffee fix and much deserved cupcakes, treats and cool drinks.
On-site activities: Relax on the designated picnic area while you watch your mate/spouse/kids spin around the never-ending loop system of the pumptrack which lies no more than a shout, insult or laugh away. The outer loop has been designed as a BMX track for those who want to test their talent with a bit of air yet still fun enough for anyone who just wants to ride it and get a feel.
Location: The Garden Route Trail Park is nestled at the very foot of the Outeniqua Mountains and the Karatara River Gorge, midway between George and Knysna, in the heart of the Garden Route, on the Seven Passes road.
