Description: Blue Crane Farm is a beautiful fly fishing venue with spectacular self catering cottages. The farm is situated approximately 10 minutes’ drive from the well-known fly fishing destination of Dullstroom with all its amenities, shops, restaurants and attractions. The gravel road leading to the farm is suitable for vehicles with a low or high clearance.
Bed capacity: 5 units available in 8, 6 and 4 sleeper arrangements.
In-room facilities: All the units on Blue Crane Farm are equipped with a Morso fireplace in the lounge areas, and all bedrooms are equipped with oil heaters. The DStv runs on the commercial bouquet which offers Mnet, most movie channels and sport. We have also activated channel 144 (Kyknet) and 307(Nick jnr for the kids). All the units have phenomenal views and are all water facing. The distance between the units is approximately 50 – 100 m.
On-site activities: The farm boasts two beautiful dams where guests can enjoy fly fishing. Both dams are stocked with rainbow and brown trout. We offer guests the chance to hike or cycle on well kept paths on the farm.
Style: Family friendly.
Restrictions: Pets are not allowed. No internet access available. Non-smoking rooms.
