This resort is unique in that it is made up of timeshare and privately owned units. Timeshare units are run solely by the resort. Guests enjoy easy access to the beach with just a five-minute stroll along the promenade to the main bathing area which is protected by lifeguards. Holiday makers can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shore or use the promenade which extends from the Breakers Resort, to just south of the lighthouse, a distance of about 2.5 km.
