The Wild Mushroom’s main building, built at the beginning of the 20th century, was originally the Digteby farmhouse.
Bed capacity: There are seven en suite bedrooms in the century old manor house. The arched “stoop” offers an unobstructed view of the blue Boland Mountains so that a stay in the Wild Mushroom, a uniquely South African guest house, is a visual delight and sensory experience in an exclusive, private environment.
At the poolside, a building originally constructed as a high-tech mushroom growing facility, has been converted into the most luxurious suite you will ever experience. Additionally there are two junior suites in the annex.
In-room facilities: Although the decor of each room differs, they all are furnished with extra-length king-size beds and plasma-screen TVs with DStv. An iPod-friendly music center with radio, alarm and CD player is also available in every one of our Cape Winelands suites. WiFi is available throughout the Guesthouse. Air-conditioning, underfloor heating and heated towel railings ensure maximum comfort in the summer and winter months.
